Ahhh so many makeup, so many disappointments.
NARS Audacious Lipsticks: overhyped, overpriced, underwhelming. I love this when I first got it, but I've tried many other lipsticks that were cheaper and does a better job than this. It changed color, too (around 6 months in - it's paler, for one). What is that about..
Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm in Naked Medium. Many western brands are just super inferior to Asian brands when it comes to BB creams. This one has no coverage at all. As in, at all. BB creams are supposed to have lighter coverage than foundations, but this is just pushing it. Maybe for those with little to no imperfections on their face, this would be perfect? But then again... what's the point?
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner - super, super expensive; does not deliver. Tube dries up very quickly. Waste of money. I can't believed I walked 1.6 miles for this lol. WALKED 1.6 MILES. I don't even like walking much for food :D
Ouia Wave Spray - this wasn't that bad; but if you have limp/straight hair, I don't think this will do anything for your hair. I have wavy hair, and when I spray this on, it enhances my natural curls. But goodness, does the maker of this thing have any sense of smell? Because this stuff smells horrible. Also make my hair tangle like craaay.
ELF Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls - I was debating whether to include this or not, because I really love this. I actually like it more than Becca Champagne Pop - and yes, I can hear you gasping - but for real, this is more flattering on me. You could hardly see the Champagne Pop when I wear it which I think is because it's very close to my skin color - just a tad bit more gold and hellavu more shimmery ofc.
The reason why I have Moonlight Pearls on this list is because on first swipe you won't see any pigmentation at all. As in Z E R O. I read went on Makeupalley, and came across a review that said she scraped the top of the highlight, and the color payoff was much better afterwards. I did that, and the pigmentation highly improved. It's a sheer pearly white highlighter which I think is quite similar to Becca Highlighter in Pearl.
Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. So many people swear by this, but oh my God, THIS WAS THE WOOOOORST. This gave me so many cystic acne I'm not even kidding you. At first I thought I was purging, but nearly 2 months of use, I was still breaking out.
I'm still working on my review for this; will link it once I finished it.
Skin Lab Lift & Firm Eyegel - I bought this at Marshalls for like $5, I think. It does not lift nor does it firm, what it does though, is burn your eyes (no matter how far you apply it on your actual eye!!) This is what I get for buying things on sale lol.
H2O+ Cleansing Water was another Marshalls find.. I'm still not 100% sure what this does lol. Is it like a micellar water or is it a facial wash? I've tried it both ways, and both did not really work? It smells fantastic though.
