First beauty-related post in absolute ages. Shocker. I'm really trying to revive my blog again. Honestly wouldn't be worth renewing my domain if I only write once a month, yes? I think I just have to find a new niche because writing about makeup is tiring me out. How many reviews for the same product do people really need? I think I'll leave that up to other people who does it better than I do.
*Font used is Manhattan Darling which I've first heard about from Helga. SO BEAUTY.
I've always been on the lookout for a cheaper alternative to Bioderma. I came across a review of the Haruhada Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Water, and my curiosity was piqued. Luckily, my cousin went to Malaysia recently, and so I asked her to get me one. YEP WORTH IT. Wouldn't be in my current favorites if it wasn't! It works exactly like Bioderma - no smell, does not leave any stickiness on the skin, removes waterproof mascara, no need to rinse after. SO GOOD. & a 500ml bottle only costs 39MYR (or Php470!!)
Something I pulled out of my drawer, the MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Pink Power - this came out with the Wonder Woman collection maybe 3-4 years ago? I know, so old but it's bigger than your average size MSF, so I'm not sure if anyone can actually finish this! I just really like swirling my brush on the bronzer and the pink blush - it creates the most beautiful orange-y coral that's perfect for summer!
I love lipsticks. I have a drawer full of it, in fact. Lately, however, the only thing that I have been reaching out for is my Stila Color Balm. Any other lip product feels so heavy on my lips. Nope, no way.
The Maybelline Fit Me Powder is my favorite powder. Ever. It has tiny flecks of shimmers that makes you 'glow'; and even if you keep piling it on, it wouldn't cake up on you! While I like the Happy Skin SS Creme Foundation it just does not do well in super hot and humid weather. I tried using primer underneath the foundation, but it doesn't do anything! What I did was I mixed the SS Creme Foundation with the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser. Not only did it give me a flawless looking base (see photo below), it also extended my foundation's longevity to about 2 hours. Not bad!
Anyway, on to my next favorite... The NEST Dahlia and Vines, honestly from the name alone, I just know that I would love it. It vaguely reminds me of Chloe EDP, I think because of the rose? Maybe a sweeter, lighter version of it.. I just love sweet-floral scents during summertime!
Last favorite, but not least, the highly-rated Beauty Blender. Makes everything feels SO MUCH LIGHTER. Face base? Yep. Cream blush? Yep. Luminizer? Yep. #thankyoulord #blessed
