Re-create: Kirsten Stewart Makeup Look

I've been meaning to do another re-create post, but I just never got around to doing it. I like re-create posts, because it challenges my creativity (or lack of it) HA. But no seriously, it does! So here's my take on Kirsten Stewart's Eclipse Premiere makeup look!

For this look, I used the Happy Skin SS Creme Foundation and the Maybelline Fit Me! Powder to set everything. For the cheeks, I used MAC Blushbaby to give my cheeks some color, I skipped the bronzer as I don't think Kirsten had contoured her face here.

I forgot to photograph what I used for my eyebrows, but it's the Tweezerman Brow Duo Powder. I tried to make my brows look slightly more natural than the usual, but I obviously failed with that :P

I just adore this eye makeup on her - it's very dark and bold, and beautiful. I used the middle shade in the MAC In The Groove trio, a very pretty shimmery Cranberry color. Then used Urban Decay Buck - from the Naked 1 Palette - to just deepen up my crease. For the outer-v of my eyes, I chose to use Creep. I use the same cranberry shade mixed slightly with Creep to smudge some color on my lower lids. Then I finished it off with a black gel liner to tightline and apply on my waterline.

I curled my lashes afterwards, but totally forgot to put on mascara. If I didn't forget, I would have used the Lancome Hypnose Star just to give my lashes some length.

For the lips, I mixed GOSH Darling and Tophop Nevada. A mistake. I should have gone for MAC Creme d' Nude over MAC Cherish lalala oh well. (Also, I should have not smiled that big amirite)

What do you guys think? :)

  2. I like your interpretation, considering how different your eyeshape is from hers.

Feeling ko, I know what you mean. I'm not a creative person, naisip ko maggaya na lang ng mga makeup looks ng celebs. I'm attempting an Emma Stone week/ project of sorts. Haay, ang hirap din pala, kelangan din ng creativity and imagination kahit manggagaya lang :P

  4. Love what you did! The cranberry shade really suits you and I love how its a subtle smoky on the upper lid but with the eyeliner on the lower lash line it just pulls the whole look together perfectly! Great recreation!
