What's In Her Makeup Bag #06

The sixth installment of What's In Her Makeup Bag (WIHMB) is actually a collaboration between me and my favorite local beauty blogger, Carina of Softly Sometimes. Interestingly, we launched the WIHMB series (hers is called Nosy Beauty) at the same time! You can see the content of my makeup bag here! :)

Hello, my name is Carina. My makeup bag is a GWP from shu uemura, back when the Karl Lagerdfeld collection launched and I had no self-control. It is borderline obnoxious and I love it. I like to have all of my makeup fit in here. If it doesn't fit, I'll know that I'm bringing around too much stuff.
I normally don't like to touch up anything aside from lipstick or eye makeup, but I'll bring around a powder and my trusty Hakuhodo H601 Powder Brush for when my face oils up. I am currently using the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light, which does amazing things for my skin.
I also have a sample of the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Alaska, since it's lightweight and has SPF. I love playing around with blush, but lately (aka these days when I can't be bothered) I've been using this Addiction Cheek Stick in Tea Rose, which is very fuss-free and neutral. It's similar to the effect of the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed.
For brows, I have been using The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit in 02, which does the job. And lately, I've been setting it with this Nichido Clear Mascara because I think it makes the powder stay on longer and help keeps my brows neat! For lashes, I use a shu uemura eyelash curler and some variation of mascara. Currently, I'm trying to use up this Eye of Horus Natural Mascara. I'm not too picky with mascara since nothing really helps my lashes in a dramatic way.
I AM THE BIGGEST EYE MAKEUP FIEND. THE BIGGEST. I used to carry around the Laura Mercier Artist's Palette for Eyes, aka my favoritest palette ever, but now I usually just toss in whatever eyeshadow I am wearing, or similar singles if the palette I used that day is bulky. Here, I have my second favorite palette, And God Created the Woman by NARS, because it's basic, pretty, and portable. For my eye base, I usually use a MAC Paint Pot, in this case, my current favorite, Bare Study. My HG eyeliner is K-Palette's Liquid Eyeliner in black, and I usually rotate between MAC eye kohl in Teddy and Prunella for my lower lash line.
For lips, I usually just bring whatever lipstick I wore that day, but in case I change my mind, I bring something that is a) darker or b) brighter. I have the NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Montego Bay and MAC Mehr as my basics, and the Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lipstick in Envoutante if I want to go dramatic. For a subtle change, I like bringing along the Le Métier de Beauté Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss, too.
AND LASTLY, because I am a makeup germophobe, I always have a packet of wet wipes with me. I don't like touching up—especially my lips—but I don't mind reapplying on a clean-ish base.

Hope you've been enjoying the What's In Her Makeup Bag series so far! Next week, I'm going to snoop at the content of the makeup bag of one of the country's famous fashion blogger! :)
