A couple of months ago, my beloved Jack Black Pure Daily Facial Cleanser has bitten the bullet. I was initially supposed to buy the Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser, but the pull of the Kiehl's store was hella strong :p So in the store, I went... I asked about the Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleanser, but the girl assisting me insisted that the Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser (Php1500) would be better for me. I am ridiculously easy to sell products to, so I just nodded and headed off to the counter to pay.
When I got home, however, I was quite hesitant to try it because I was already using the toner of the same line. And since both of them has Salicylic Acid (which helps heal and dry spots faster), I thought it was going to dry my face real badly. But fortunately, it hasn't... so far.
After I remove my makeup, I double cleanse by washing my face with this product. I love, love using this cleanser because you can really tell that it cleanses deep down because your face will feel squeaky clean - but it doesn't leave my face tight. If you can believe this.. the cleanser does dry my spots, but doesn't dry my whole face! You literally need just a tiny amount of the product to use for your whole face, and surprisingly, the pea-size amount lathers really well. I've been using this for over a month, and content inside still hasn't reach the top of the label. I wouldn't normally shell out this much of money for a facial cleanser (I can only go up to about $20!), but I think the exorbitant price of this product is definitely worth it.
What's your favorite cleanser? :)
