I have a 'default makeup' for days when I only have 15 minutes to do my whole face (which is very often, to be honest hahaha). Here are the products that I use for days like that:
I've been reaching for the L'oreal Lucent Magique Foundation these days because it's the only foundation I have in my stash that currently matches my skin color (well, and the Laura Mercier Silk Creme). I use the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush for this. Depending on the weather, I set my base with either Maybelline Dream Matte Powder or Maybelline Fit Me! Powder. I skip this step often now because ~heeeey summer's over!
After doing my base, I use the Tweezerman Brow Powder which I got from Hautelook. Side story: I had my brow tweezed a few days ago, and it was horrible! You know I like my eyebrows thick and a bit straight, but holy moley, now it's thin and arched at the wrong place! :( After doing my brows, I bust my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer out, and lightly dust it under my cheekbones, on my temples and a bit on the side of my nose. This isn't really a good product to use for contour (leans a bit red), but it's great for an all-over wash on the face.
NARS Luster is my tried and tested blush. I'm in love with the color (dirty apricot) because it gives me the perfect sunkissed look. It last forever, too! ♥ While I like the look of bold lip color, I don't normally wear it during day time. I love my nudes, and one of my favorites is MAC Cherish.
Do you have a default face makeup, too? :)
