First Impression: Revlon Colorstay 12-hour Eyeshadow Quad in Sultry Smoke

(No primer)

Another item that I picked up for my Mom during the Super Sale Bazaar is the Revlon Colorstay 12-hour Eyeshadow Quad in Sultry Smoke (Php300 from Chedelyn's Cosmetic Store | Php450 in local counters). I've tried Coffee Bean from the same line, and loved it - so when my Mom asked me to recommend a blue/gray based quad, I told her to go for Sultry Smoke.

I'll probably classify this as an "okay quad" - the colors on the pan are all gorgeous, but it lack the pigmentation that I want. The shades are all quite sheer and not surprisingly, it doesn't last as long if used without a primer underneath. One good thing about this quad is the fact that the eyeshadow aren't shimmery so fallout is minimal.

As I said, the colors are gorgeous - it has a light blue (almost lavender) shade to use for highlight, a metallic blue, a metallic gray and another darker shade of gray. I like that it has unconventional shades that you can use for smokey eyes, but it's such a shame that it doesn't deliver as much as I was expecting.

Have you tried this quad? :)
