BREAKING NEWS: I've finally found the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer!

After weeks of going back & forth the Collection kiosk in The Ramp Trinoma (they're now located inside Landmark), they have finally stocked up on the Lasting Perfection Concealer (Php299 | roughly $8). Oh man, I have wanted this concealer for ages. A big thaaank you to the company who brought this brand in the country. ♥

I've never hid the fact that I have a lot of acne scars & active spots.. It dried up a few months ago, but these couple of weeks, I have been naughtily indulging on dairy... oops. So, yes, hello new breakouts. :( Anyway, I tried the concealer a while ago, and I was totally impressed. I'll let you be the judge:

[Beware: extreme close-up of spots!]

AMAZING OR WHAT?! Fyi, I have no foundation or powder on - just the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

I really like how creamy the concealer is - it glides super nicely on my skin (I used the RT Contour Brush). But it does dries pretty quickly so you need to buff it in fast, but once it sets, it stays all day long. The coverage that the concealer gives is really great, very comparable to the MUFE Full Cover Concealer - but the Lasting Perfection feels so much lighter. I did 2 layers of concealer for the photos above, and as you can see, it doesn't look cakey at all. This is probably the concealer that gives me the most natural looking finish.

I think it's safe to say that I am totally in love with this concealer. So in love I'm already thinking of buying a backup... or three. I now get why this is touted as one of the best-selling concealers in the UK.

Have you tried this concealer? :)

  2. I have this and this is one of my current favorites. I mix it with my moisturizer to create my own tinted moisturizer. It creates a very beautiful finish.
