Aside from the Stickygram (and a lunch buffet), one of our gifts to our Mom is an overnight stay in a hotel. Staying just one night in a hotel isn't much of a big deal compared to actually traveling abroad, so I want to 'travel light'.
Bifesta Sebum Makeup Remover is quite an obvious choice to bring so I won't have to lug around a 400ml bottle! The Sephora Deodorant Spray along with the Sephora Body Wash Caps were the last few items I added in my cart whilst in KL, and I'm glad I bought these because it's such a convenient thing to have. If you haven't been inside a Sephora store, they have this marketing ploy to lure you into buying things you don't need by placing rows and rows of travel/mini size items right along the counter. Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Hydrating Shampoo & Kiehl's Amino Acid Conditioner - I usually really dislike the shampoo and conditioner provided by hotels, so both of these are coming with me. I haven't tried the shampoo yet, but I really like the conditioner!
Givenchy Le Rouge in Brun Createur is just a nice neutral rose color perfect to pair with just about anything, really. For my makeup base, I would have gone for the Revlon Whipped foundation, but the packaging's too bulky. So I settled for the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation - it doesn't last as long, but at least it will easier to carry around. I opted for the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in lieu of a blush to add warmth to my face after applying the Silk Creme. I thought of bringing my NARS and God Created Woman palette for an easy eye makeup look - though I'm not really sure if I'm going to use this at all! ;)
What do you usually bring for staycations? :)
