Yesterday, I was tagged by Carina of Softly Sometimes to do the "Lipstick Week" - I love lipstick so I am beyond excited to start this! So, what's a better way to start the challenge by doing a review, eh? Yes, yes, I know, another lipstick review. I guess I could've started the tag by showing you my lipstick collection, but I already wrote about it last year (check it out here, here and here). Maybe I'll do a round-up of what's left of my collection later on this week?
I was supposed to do a review on this certain red lipstick, but I feel so bloated and ugly (hai PMS) so yeaaaah no. I have this lipstick on backlog since April so I thought I'd write about it now.
Too Cool For School Virgin Gloss Stick in Shine Hot Pink (Php) is a high-shine lipstick that feels really lightweight and glossy. I'm sure by now you know that I am not a massive fan of glossy lips, but this one isn't that bad - in fact, it just looks very natural. I really love how it feels on - not sticky, very light and not drying at all. In fact, it apparently has moisturizing properties that will prevent chapped lips.
The Virgin Gloss Stick doesn't have a lot of pigment, but it does give a nice even sheer tint to my lips. It isn't "hot pink" per se, but it is pink... sort of. I think Coral is the perfect word to describe the shade. Staying power, as expected from a sheer lipstick, isn't very good. Give or take 2-3 hours before it's completely gone.
I'm not really sure why TCFS products have "London New York" printed on the packaging seeing as the brand is from Korea. Is it because the product itself is made in London and/or New York? Anybody knows the real reason why?
Quite a short post for my first Lipstick Week entry, but I'm going to be writing a few other posts tonight because I'm going to be gone for a few days. All you'll get from now on will be scheduled entries! Hope that's not cheating ;P
