I received this as a Christmas gift from my cousin, but wasn't really interested in it until mid-last year. As I said, I'm not very keen on Korean cosmetics, but I'm s l o w l y becoming very fond of them because 1.) they're actually pretty good and 2.) they're cheap! I've only tried three brands so far: Tony Moly, The Face Shop and Missha. Any other great brands that you can recommend to me?
Tony Moly Prestige Crystal Lipstick in Muse Coral (Php498) is a gorgeous vibrant coral color. I wish I still have my MAC Toxic Tale because I find them pretty similar. The packaging reminds me of Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited - clear plastic tube which looks tacky and cheap. The formula, as you can see, is very glossy - not unlike MAC Cremesheen's but Prestige Crystal's are a lot more pigmented. They have more or less the same staying power which is well, pretty weak. But the good thing about this lipstick is that it fades into a nice stain - the center doesn't disappear, no crusty edges and it doesn't flake off.
I find the Prestige Crystal range very moisturizing which is, to be honest, is a little disconcerting at first since I'm super used to dry lipsticks. It feels pretty good though, very light and nice on the lips. P498 is a little too much too pay for a "drugstore" brand, but I find that the price is very much worth it for a nice lipstick like this.
Any favorite Korean makeups? :)
