L'oreal Studio Secrets Eyeshadow Quad in Lavender Smokes is actually quite an old palette I managed to unearth from the depths of my drawer. It's doesn't have the most pigmented eyeshadows, but I just love how it's a mix of mattes and satin finishes - perfect for daytime wear. Tarte Clean Slate Poreless 12-Hr Perfecting Primer ($30/$9 for three sample size included in a set) is currently the only face primer I own. While I don't think it keeps my makeup in place for 12 hours, it does blurs out imperfections and "hides" my pores so that my foundation can settle nicely on my face. NARS Luster ($29/Php1450) is a pretty golden apricot shade - a very, very flattering shade for all skin tone.
Tony Moly Prestige Carat Dual Concealer was a surprisingly great buy. As I said, I don't gravitate normally towards Korean makeups but I'm so glad I picked this one up. It has such a great staying power, and covers ALL my scars. And it's quite cheap considering you'll get two concealers - a liquid one and another in a stick form. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation ($43/Php1800) and I didn't get along well during my first run with this product, because as I said, it broke me out quite badly. I tried it again after a couple of weeks, and I have been loving it since. It covers sooo well without the heavy mask-like feeling.
Bifesta Cleansing Lotion Sebum (Php419) is my new Bioderma. I am slowly running out of the latter, so I've been using my Bifesta a lot lately. I love cleansing water. It's works so well in removing makeup, and doesn't make you feel greasy. Etude House Brush Shower Cleaner (Php428) was one of the gifts I received from my cousin last Christmas. This is such a God send! I'm really lazy when it comes to washing my makeup brushes, and this one makes cleaning brushes so much easier. Just pop a couple of drops on your palm, swirl damp brushes on the solution then wash off with water. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Two brushes I have been loving are Real Techniques Contour Brush and Artist Studio Angled Flat Top Kabuki Brush. I use the RT Contour brush to apply concealer on my under eye area. While, the flat top kabuki brush I use for cream blushes - this is only Php149, can you believe it? Cheap brushes that works well rock.
