The weatherman (Kuya Kim!) said that summer will start soon - next week, in fact! - but unlike most people, I absolutely loathe summer. I hate the stifling heat, the thick humidity, the stickiness.. Ugh. Do. Not. Want. However, I do like using summer colors on my nails! It's little things like this that make my day a little bit more cheerful.
I've never tried Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear (P245/$2.99) before, and I've always thought it was expensive. My cousin from the US gave me some, and I was shocked to know that it cost way cheaper there! The formula of these nail polishes isn't thick, isn't thin - it's just right! The brush is also really nice (not thin, not thick...) They don't chip as much so they last relatively well. I love how vibrant the colors are, but you do need to add a topcoat to get that "shine".
420 Pacific Blue is my favorite. It looks a wee bit lighter in real life compared to the photo above. It is so very pretty, and so perfect to rock when you're at the beach! 405 Coral Reef is a pastel peachy-pink color - this makes my finger looks clean. I actually prefer using this on my toenails! 150 Sunkissed is an intense orange shade. Unlike Coral Reef, this color actually makes my hands look darker haha Great for anyone who's already tanned! 340 Mint Sorbet is a little too pale to work for me. It looks a bit chalky on my nails, to be honest. But it may be perfect for those whose skintone's lighter than me (I'm NC35 for the record!).
