A Bioderma Dupe: Bifesta Cleansing Lotion

I first heard of Bifesta Cleansing Lotion - Sebum (P419/300ml) whilst reading Xiaxue's blog, so when I chanced upon a travel size bottle in the Changi airport, I just had to buy one. (A few weeks later, I saw it being sold in Watson's!)

So, how is it? Just a little FYI, Bifesta only sells makeup removers - so yes, of course this product is good! I was skeptical about it at first because I love my Bioderma, but you know what? Color me shock, but they work exactly the same way. Okay, a bit exaggerated that claim of mine.. it takes a little more effort to remove my makeup using Bifesta - I use about 4 cotton pads (2 pumps on the first, a pump each for the next two, none for the last) to really make sure that my face is clean. For your eye makeup, just simply put the cotton pads on your lids, wait for a few seconds then swipe down.

It doesn't leave your face feeling oily which is always good. Though I still suggest that you wash your face with your cleanser afterwards as you should anyway. What's great about Bifesta is that they have other variants for all skin types: Sebum (which is what I have - for oily skin), Bright Up (dull skin), Moist (dry skin), and Agecare (mature skin).

Depending on where you buy it, Bioderma Sensibio can set you back at least Php1000 for the 500ml. (Or if you've been reading my blog, you'd know where to buy it for Php600!!) Bifesta cost about half the price of Bioderma, and can easily be bought at any Watson's and Landmark store. I'm not really sure if this is widely available outside Asia, but if it is, I'd suggest you go give it a try! (*when I hit 100 followers on GFC, I think I'll give one away!)

Have you tried this makeup remover? :)

  1. Haven't tried that makeup remover. Surprised that THAT's the only thing the brand carries, but I would expect that commends an extra expertise on the matter! :)
