One of the best things about bright/dark lipstick is the many ways that you can manipulate its uses. Revlon Cherries in the Snow ($7.99/Php450) is a bright blue-toned cherry red color. Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks are very pigmented and last pretty long on the lips. It has a slight sheen finish. Cherries in the Snow is a little too cool for my skin tone so I don't use this as a lipstick too often (I prefer my red a bit deeper than this). Here are a couple more ways to use this lipstick:
Using it as a stain is my favorite. I normally don't sport red lips on day-to-day basis, but I will wear a red lip stain everyday if I have to. I dab it on my lips using my finger, building the color up until I have the color that I want. I usually stop when I achieve a lovely cherry pink color. and this way, the color would last all day on my lips without fail. Another way is to use the lipstick as a blush. Super old school, right? I bet your Mom did it back in her teenage days! ;) Since Cherries in the Snow is bright, I just need the tiniest amount of it dotted on my cheeks lest I look like Bobo the Clown.
Do you know any other ways to use lipsticks? :)
