Can you believe it's less than a month before Christmas arrives?! Insane how fast time flies! Here's a curated list of products I want for Christmas/you can give for Christmas! Hold on, it's quite lengthy! ;)
COSMETICS: Are you tired of seeing these products on my wish lists? ;) I'm torn between the UD Naked Palette ($50) or LORAC Pro Palette! I love the mix of mattes and shimmers on the LORAC one but the brand is pretty hard to find in Asia.. so obviously, I'm settling for Naked. If you've been reading my blog long enough, you'd know I love lipsticks. It's that one product I wouldn't hesitate to splurge on... well, in theory. On my list are: Tom Ford Wild Ginger ($48), Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro #400 ($32) and Burberry Lip Velvet in Bright Poppy ($30). Other Burberry products I have in mind: The Warm Glow bronzer ($48) and their Velvet Foundation ($55). I'm hoping to buy the Tom Ford & GA lippies in Singapore, and the Burberry products in Malaysia (it's cheaper!). A bottle of Bioderma Sensibio wouldn't hurt, too!
SKINCARE: One of the things I've learned this past couple of years is that you should splurge on skin care - especially if you have acne/blemish prone skin like I do. I've heard a lot of good things about Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream ($30), and as you know, I'm on the lookout for a nice eye cream. Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer ($45) is expensive but apparently it works on concealing pesky dark circles without creasing! Another Perricone MD product I'm interested in is the Nutritive Cleanser ($39) which is the gentlest cleanser of the line, if I'm not mistaken. Masks and face scrubs are an indulgence I don't really need however I do really want. Two masks I want to try are the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask ($55) and the Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed (£11). Origins Never A Dull Moment Skin Brightening Facial Polisher ($40) was the first scrub that came to mind when I was doing this list. If you have any better suggestions, it's appreciated!
BODYCARE: I'm really curious about the REN Moroccan Rose Experience Gift Set (£32) - the kit includes a body wash, body cream, body oil and a bath oil. A body scrub on my list is Soap & Glory Pulp Friction ($20) which I chose among other S&G scrubs because of its name! Lastly is Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil ($46) which looks to be a very promising night moisturizer!
A Zara gift card is something that you can't just go wrong with! Add the Salt Water Sandals to that, too. Another no-brainer gift is a well-fitted Breton stripes shirt! It's such a classic clothing item that everyone needs one in their closet! Plaid/Flannel button downs are my newest obsession as of late. I love Uniqlo's Flannel ones, the most! So soft and so comfy! :) Proenza Schouler PS11 bag is the most. perfect. bag. in existence! Not very wallet friendly, but one can dream, yes? Speaking of wallet-friendly, Suelas sandals are the best foldable shoes/sandals available in the market today. No exaggeration whatsoever. It's the b-e-s-t. BEST.
I saw Van Gogh Starry Night umbrella ($25 - cheaper in Ebay/Amazon!) on a friend's blog post, and I just have to have one, too! :o I've wanted to try TWG tea for a while now - dreaming of their Earl Grey Chocolate tea right now! Mmm. 80s film DVDs - actually, just any film John Hughes directed! Say Anything is on the list because it's AMAZING and everyone needs to watch it. I want the Malin+Goetz Essential Kit ($30) because I tried their Acne Treatment and LOVED it! And... *drumroll* CANDLES! Malin+Goetz Cannabis Candle ($52) has to be mine. MINE. Paddywax Wanderlust candles ($12 travel size) think NYC, Rome, Paris, London in a candle form! Assouline Book Candle ($49) has been on my list for soooo long now, I swear. If I can have any candle at this moment, this will have to be it! Paddywax Library Collection ($24) includes Edgar Allan Poe candles, Jane Austen, etc. <3 But if all else fail, I'll settle for Bath and Body Works candles ($20/2 for $20), they're pretty cheap and they've never fail me yet! (I think I'll add an Macbook adapter to this list, too since mine's busted!)
So, what's on your list this year? ;)
