Burberry Lip Cover in Delicate Rose

Burberry Lip Cover ($30) are "creamy lipstick that offers a hint of natural, sheer color that leaves lips with a moist, dewy finish." Burberry Lip Cover are pretty much the perfect example of how the Brits exudes class and sophistication. Elegant yet effortless.

Oh, Burberry. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... Burberry Lip Cover are housed in a heavy gunmetal gray metal case that looks super luxurious (& with the price, it better look expensive!) Add the brand's trademark hetchmark to the lipstick itself... ooh, perfection. You know how Chanel lipsticks have that "perfect" click? Well, Burberry has the supercaliperfect click thanks to its magnetic closure. It literally makes me feel giddy every time I close the lipstick tube!

Burberry Lip Cover in Delicate Rose is a nice pinky nude color. It's the perfect color to wear just about everywhere! It's such a classic shade, you really can't go wrong with it. To be honest, the shades of their Lip Covers are actually pretty dupe-able. But what you can't dupe is the formulation of their lipsticks! Lip Covers has a bit of a sheen to it, but it's not glossy at all. The finish looks almost like when you ehm, lick your lips? It's very natural. It doesn't slide easily off my lips, too! The staying power is superb, and can outlast even some of my matte lipsticks.

I love thee freely, I love thee purely, I love thee with the passion put to use.... Mmm.

Can you say gooooorgeous?

The only downside that I can see with this product is it's scented. With that heavy rose-powdery smell that Burberry cosmetics seems very fond of. News flash: Hey Burberry, the scent is too much! I don't understand why cosmetic companies keep insisting on putting fragrance on their products! It is neither helpful nor is it really necessary. I sold my Chanel Mademoiselle lipstick I reviewed a while back because of this very reason. Oh, woe is me. I'm set to find that one high-end brand that will give me one perfect lipstick. *cough* Tom Ford *coughChristmasiscoming*

Do you like your lipsticks scented? :)

  3. That is pretty gorgeous. I do get annoyed with how strongly some things ate scented. Don't mind a little scent but when you can smell it all day and it's really over powering - blergh. I had that with a foundation recently, went round just smelling my face all day. Not nice! Even worse, not necessary! Xo
