I've already stated how horrible I am when it comes to matching myself with a liquid foundation. I've been lucky a few times, but Alas, I failed yet again. I got the Healthy Skin foundation two shades lighter. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation ($11.99) is touted to be a dupe of the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. They're both runny, lightweight, have dewy finish, and they both have...... no pump. Ho-hum, judging you forever NARS. That's the end of their similarities, if I'm not mistaken. Healthy Skin foundation is runny, but oddly enough, when I put it on my face it feels thick. It's a medium-full coverage, but it has a tendency to cake up so be very careful when applying this. One layer looks natural, two is pushing it - hello cake face.
I honestly don't think it photographs well. Might have been because of the SPF20. Staying power wise, without any setting powder, 5 hours before I notice any fading give or take. I didn't breakout from this, so I give this a mega thumbs up! I like it but I just don't love it enough to keep it. To this foundation's defense, my opinions may have been just a tiny bit biased since I bought this after finding my HG (currently) foundation. ;)
*Incredibly sorry for the lack of "before & after" photos!
