Hong Kong trip in a nutshell

Not so much photos as it was FREEZING cold. It was 12C when we got there, and we only packed thin sweatshirts & flats. Not our smartest moment, I have to tell you ;) Visited Madame Tussauds after checking in our hotel. Disneyland (again, again, again) on the second day. There were far too many people (it was a Saturday!) The new Toy Story Land was a bit disappointing - it was so small! But the RC Racer was fun if a bit bitin. Us going in & out of the stores and restaurants to dodge the cold wind. Bought unnecessary stuff - in Citygate, went around TST to shop - Lane Crawford, Harbour City, then went to Mongkok. 3rd day was spent in Sha Tin. It was... okay. Snoopy World was closed, so we just went around the mall. Have I already said that my favorite thing to check out once I get to another country is their grocery stores? Haha, I love seeing/buying things that can't be bought in my own country! Went a bit crazy in New Town Plaza's supermarket. Ate street foods, ate at some hole in the wall restaurant, too many noodles & roasted duck. Mmm. Wasn't able to eat at Tim Ho Wan!! :( But I'll be back... soon-ish, maybe. HK will forever be one of my favorite places in the world. :)

Have you been there?

  4. @ Sandra: Thank you! The tag says it from Zara, but I bought it online so I can never tell if it's authentic! :p
