Sleek blush in Pixie Pink, Ever Bilena Mauvey, Revlon Pink in the Afternoon, MAC Warm Me Up, MAC MSF in Pink Power, L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, Style Essentials Nail Polish, Silk by Zara, Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure Castile Soap, Slatkin & Co Dark Chocolate Mint candle, Nivea Creme
My first favorites of the month! How exciting! :)
Picked this nail polish at Saizen, of all places! I originally thought it would be like Orly Rage (metallic rose gold shade), but it isn't. It's more of a Metallic Pewter Gray color. It's beautiful. Shame, I couldn't find the name of it.. Oh, it's a bit streaky but nothing a second coat and a top coat can't fix, and hey, it's only P85!
L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - see review here.
Nivea Creme - This isn't made in Germany, but I think it works quite well. I'm not really sure if how I use it is appropriate, but I use this mostly as an eye cream to prevent crow feet. And also on the side of my nose and mouth where I'm the driest. It's been great, so far.
Slatkin & Co Dark Chocolate Mint candle - My first candle ever! It's only 4oz so the scent is not very strong when burned in my room. What I do is burn it for a couple of minutes, then I take it inside the bathroom whenever I shower. It gives off the most amazing chocolate smell!! I cannot smell any Mint on it, but that's actually the reason why I bought it. Whilst I'm not adverse to mint, I was just really looking for a chocolate scented candle, when I read the reviews that some people can barely smell the mint on this candle, I was sold. I am definitely going to repurchase this! And other scents, too! What are your favorite candles? :)
Silk by Zara - Read my review here. Now that the weather is becoming insufferable, the light, fresh scent of this perfume is just perfect for me.
Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure Castile Soap - LIFESAVER! This is my go-to body wash for this month! The Peppermint leaves my body with a very nice tingly sensation - so perfect to beat the heat! Plus, you can use this to clean your makeup brushes!
MAC MSF in Pink Power (blush part) & Sleek Pixie Pink blush - I love this two together! The baby pink flush that Pixie Pink gives me is in no doubt pretty, but when I put the blush part of Pink Power on top of it? It's perfect! It turn into this pretty pinky coral shimmery blush, and it's so beautiful! I suggest you give this combination a try if you have these two!
Gone are the days when Rebel & Viva Glam 3 used to be my go to lipsticks. Summer is around the corner, so I've been wearing lighter, pinker lipsticks. Mauvey is a light, cool-toned pink color. Pink in the Afternoon reminds me of Holly Golightly! It's a warm pink with a tad hint of coral. Warm Me Up is a warm brown nude.
Have you posted your February favorites? What are they? :)
