Perfume: Silk by Zara

Apologies for the lack of posts lately. I have been feeling quite lethargic, moody, and just over all down for the last couple of weeks. I've just been in bed watching Gaki No Tsukai (a hilarious Japanese variety show - you should watch this absolutely tasty rice episode it's my favorite thus far!), reading, watching Youtube videos, & when I do manage to drag myself out of bed, I just do bits of shopping (will probably do a haul next time!) with my Mom. I have officially banned myself from buying anything till March 9 (HK trip!), oh man, wish me luck!

Anyway, blog post now, mood swings later!

For the life of me, I have never ever liked a Zara perfume. I just find that almost all of their perfume caters to the "mature" age - most of them either have a very strong floral scent or a very strong headache inducing vanilla scent. Have you ever smelled any of their perfumes? Do you agree, yes/yes?

One day, though, I saw Silk by Zara, and was intrigued by the bottle which reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie. I sniffed it warily, and was surprised to find that it does not offend my nose! It actually smells pretty darn amazing!

Silk by Zara has a very, very nice soapy, soft floral with just a tad hint of citrus on it. This perfume is so perfect for days out - it's just one of those perfume that you don't have to think about while spraying it on. It's light, it goes perfectly with just about anything, and the dry down is seriously addicting (crisp, clean soapy scent). Every time I wear this, I can't help but sniff my wrist! :p & again, surprisingly, this last 4-5 hours on me without fading!

I saw a post on Fragrantica that this reminds her of Prada Infusion d'Iris? But, I really wouldn't know as I don't own the Prada one. Anyway, if you've been coveting the Infusion d'Iris but can't be arsed to spend, why not try this one first? :)
