I'm back with a review! I've had this with me since December of last year, I just haven't gotten around taking photos of it till now. MAC x Gareth Pugh collection came out November 23, and this blush retails for $30. Yep. 30 US DOLLARS. For one MAC blush. Yes. YES.
MAC Strada blush is described on the site as mid-tone nude, though it looks milky pink on me! It's matte (my first ever MAC matte blush!), and I find not minding not having shimmers on my cheeks for once! Jessie of Notjessie also used this blush as a contour on some of her FOTDs. :)
The packaging is the most amazing thing ever! I only have a few MAC blushes, and they're all in the regular packaging. This one though look & feel super luxurious! The packaging itself is pretty heavy (I think it's made of metal?), and it kind of reminds me of Burberry packaging - especially the gorgeous hetchmarks! It doesn't have a clasp that locks the product, what it does have is.... a magnet closure! Super posh.
Sorry for the pathetic swatch (it's the almost pink-ish one at your right side). I wanted to show the blush on my cheek, but it would have been pretty useless as it doesn't really show up that much on me. Every time I put this on, I have to swirl my blush brush on the pan countless of times!
As you can see, it only has 2.3g/0.08oz of product on the pan. Barely half amount of a regular MAC blush (6g/0.21oz)! For the price, most people would think that it's not really worth it. This blush has been discontinued though, so if you're willing to spend, well, it is ~*Gareth Pugh*~, why not?
